AUDITIONS 7/8
Students interested in auditioning for the 7/8 musical during the 2026–2027 school year can find all audition details below.

DANCE AUDITION
Students will need to perform the following dance combination.
The combination is approximately 45 seconds long. Students will perform the combination in small groups of 6. The dance call will happen first.
VOCAL AUDITION
Students must perform one of the following songs:
"Maybe" (0:00 - 1:35)
Please note - students should belt this song if possible.
"I Think I'm Going To Like It Here" (0:00 - 1:41)
Please note - students should sing this song in their head voice.
The vocal audition will happen second. Students should only sing ONE song. Pick the song that best showcases your vocal abilities.
ACTING AUDITION
Students must be ready to perform the following scene if asked:
The scene does not need to be memorized, but it should be clear that the student is very, very familiar with the script and has rehearsed. Students can partner with each other - if you don't have someone to partner with, a partner will be assigned to you at the audition.
After the dance and vocal auditions, select students will be asked to stay and perform the acting audition. Not all students will be asked to perform an acting audition but all students should be prepared to perform an acting audition if asked.
MANDATORY REHEARSAL AND PERFORMANCE DATES
Students must be available for the following rehearsals and performances. Please do not audition if you cannot commit to these dates now:

Saturday, March 13th, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday, March 14th, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Monday, March 15th, 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Tuesday, March 16th, 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Wednesday, March 17th, 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Thursday, March 18th, 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Friday, March 19th, 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm
