AUDITIONS 9/12
All students must complete the Audition Sign-Up Form to let me know your plans for next year (even if you're not planning on being in Theatre next year).
THEATRE AUDITION
WHO/WHEN

If you are currently enrolled in the 9-12 Theatre Department, please audition during class.

If you are not currently in the Theatre Department, please audition during zero period, break, or lunch.

All auditions must be completed by Friday, May 22nd.
WHERE
Room 100
WHAT
Please prepare a scene for your audition between 1-2 minutes long. A selection of scenes from next year's plays can be found here: Audition Sides
A panel of auditors will watch your audition. Your audition will be based on your combined scores from all of the judges. You may ask to see your scores once the casting has been completed and posted. Scores will only be kept until June 5th, 2026.

MUSICAL AUDITION
Students interested in auditioning for the 9/12 musical, The Sound of Music, should follow these instructions in addition to completing the audition form.

3:30 pm - 6:30 pm
LOCATION
Room 100
Please prepare 60-90 seconds of a song from a Broadway musical (no pop songs please). You must sing the song a cappella (no accompaniment) in the correct key.
There is also a dance audition - please prepare BOTH of the following dances for your audition:
Chicaco "All That Jazz"
Music Man "76 Trombones"
Please note, we are not doing Chicago or The Music Man next year. They are just general dance auditions to allow us to evaluate your dancing abilities.
